Last Vermont Show Tonight!

The folks at Manhattan Pizza have been super nice to us since we started playing there last September, and we're playing our last Vermont show there tonight. Our friend Joey Pizza-Slice will be performing as Chubby Wonder, followed by the Toes, featuring Pamela Formica, Michael Tonn and Dan Fancher. Michael was kind enough to design and even pay to print the poster for the show, so I'm hoping they make their money back!
We are very, very pleased to be hosting the Broken Jugs tonight as well. This show is dedicated to them, especially Mart, a terrific songwriter and a good friend. The Fatal Flaws are going to do several new instrumental works-in-progress tonight, especially for Mart to hear them.

Jacuzzi Boys show gets Seven Days mention

thanks to Dan Bolles at Seven Days, who mentioned the upcoming Jacuzzi Boys show in this week's Sound Bites column:

"between Jazz Fest, OMF, Concerts on the Green, Franti and killer lineups at clubs all over town, could you guess which show I’m most looking forward to this week? Jacuzzi Boys, The Persian Claws and The Fatal Flaws at, of all places, Manhattan Pizza in Burlington on Wednesday, June 9. Rawk and roll."

June 17 with Jeff the Brotherhood

Burlington, Vermont's Angioplasty Media presents the terrific JEFF the Brotherhood at the Monkey House on June 16, and the Fatal Flaws are very glad to be opening. We saw them at the same venue in February and loved the show, got the album and love that too. My favorite show of 2010 so far.

A new Burlington band, Blue Button is also on the bill. They are so  new they don't have a myspace page yet, but considering the lineup, I'm very interested in hearing them.

Mongrel Zine in Montreal May 8

Mongrel Zine gave our CD a nice review a few issues back, and we have been included on a couple of their compilation CDs, so we are looking forward to meeting Bob Scott in person this weekend, as well as seeing our pal Skip Jensen play.
